    1pc/2pc handling & infeed

Base plates and bags for 1-piece and 2-piece systems are fed into the line with controlled web tension, so every component reaches the next station in exactly the right position.

The challenge: Components for 1-piece and 2-piece systems must arrive in exactly the same position every time.

How we solve it: Controlled infeed with constant web tension and sensor-based positioning before each station.

  2. 02

    Print

Inline printing of logos, batch codes and user instructions – ink, hot stamping or thermal transfer – verified by vision before the bag moves on.

The challenge: Codes and instructions must be legible and correct on every single bag.

How we solve it: Inline printing with vision verification and automatic rejection of faulty products.

  3. 03

    Non woven film/folie

Non-woven and film are unwound, lane-steered and joined with constant tension – keeping the material in place without stretching or collapsing.

The challenge: Soft materials stretch or wrinkle if the tension is not perfectly controlled.

How we solve it: Unwinding and lane steering with closed-loop tension control keep the material flat and in position.

  4. 04

    Outline weld / outline punch

The bag outline is welded and punched in one precise sequence – heat, impulse or ultrasound – for tight seams and exact contours.

The challenge: Seams must be tight and contours exact – a leak is not an option for the user.

How we solve it: Validated welding processes – heat, impulse or ultrasound – developed and tested in our R&D Innovation Center.

  5. 05

    Tail

The tail is integrated and finished before each bag is inspected, counted and handed over for packaging.

The challenge: The finished bag must be complete, counted and ready for packaging without manual handling.

How we solve it: Automated finishing, inspection and counting before handover to packaging.

Technologies behind our ostomy lines.

Many years in the MedTech industry have made us strong in the technologies that turn film and foil into finished bags.

01

Wind and unwind technology

Flexible materials are fed into the process with constant web tension – fundamental for uniform products and continuous production.

Film · foil · textile · paper · labels

02

Joining technology – welding

Joining soft materials such as film and textile, and integrating hard plastic items like flanges and valves with soft materials.

Heat · impulse · ultrasound · high frequency

03

Lane steering and precision punching

Automated, sensor-monitored lane steering keeps products even as they move on to punching or joining.

Soft & hard plastic · foil · film · rubber

30+years of combined experience
  • ISO 9001:2015 certified
  • Built to GxP & GAMP 5
  • FMEA from the URS phase

Challenges in ostomy production.

Ostomy products are thin, soft and produced in many variants – and every single one matters to the person who uses it.

01Thin materials

The challenge

Thin, flexible films and multi-layer materials that stretch, wrinkle or shift during production.

How we help

Controlled unwinding with constant web tension, chain pull conveying and sensor-monitored lane steering keep the materials exactly in place through every station.

The value

Uniform bags, precise welds and less material waste.
